On Being Childlike

The greatest wisdom seems childish.

—Tao Te Ching

The act of play. The ability to be present. Children’s worlds are small, and maybe that’s a good thing. Their ability to have fun and laugh, instantly and wholeheartedly, is both simple and powerful.

The digital narrative feels dark and overwhelming, it’s easy to forget the simple joys. When was the last time you swung on a swing, jumped on a trampoline, or played a practical joke? The laughter and joy are still there, waiting for you.

Go enjoy them—for your mental health, your physical health, and your community.
